- Make it Big. Add some creativity and "fresh" word of mouth to your product or service line by making a for fun version of something you sell. If you are a bakery, make a ten pound cookie so that people will take a second look, take pictures, and tell their friends about it.
- Make it Goofy. Adding an unnecessary but fun or goofy feature to your product or service line can be a great way to add personality to your business. For example, Google uses a "catch th' outgoing tide" as the name for their sign out link. It's more fun to work for and talk about a company that has fun.
- Make it Last. Take your cliche warranty or satisfaction guarantee and make it remarkable. If you have a lifetime guarantee - make it for 300 years. If you already have a fantastic promise, guarantee, or policy - help spotlight it with a little creativity that does not require changing the fundamental promise behind it.
